December's Drugstore Empties

I have enjoyed using up these drugstore products during December. All of them have moisturising properties as it has been a cold month here and my skin has needed some extra hydration.
Co-Op Indulging Shower Gel
This cruelty-free shower gel had a lovely, shea butter scent and left my skin feeling clean and soft. It was quite gentle and bubbled up to a very soft lather.

Dove Invisible Dry Roll-On Anti-Perspirant Deodorant
This isn't my favourite deodorant. I prefer the fresh feel and scent of Mitchum products, but this Dove one is moisturising and lived up to its name of being invisible and not leaving any powdery marks on clothes.

Cien Almond Oil Shower Cream
The smell of this is absolutely delicious! It contains almond oil and apricot extract which together make for a very comforting, relaxing scent. This was another extremely soft and hydrating shower cream and it was excellent value for money at less than £2 for a large bottle at Lidl.

Avon Planet Spa Heavenly Hydration Neck and Chest Serum
This is the only neck and chest serum I have ever tried and I really enjoyed using it. It has a pump which dispenses the serum and the product itself is smooth without being greasy or sticky. The packaging is very pretty and I loved the fresh olive sent too. It was nice to have a specific product to remind me to moisturise my neck. Avon sell some great value skincare which I find to be good quality.

Garnier SkinActive Moisture Bomb Day Moisturiser
This fruity-smelling day moisturiser contains SPF 10 and antioxidant pomegranate extracts. The texture is suncream-y and it does feel like it gives the skin a barrier of moisturising protection. On the downside, I didn't love the packaging of this and I didn't feel it was great value for money either. Avon sell a Nutra Effects Day Moisturiser which feels very similar and costs half the price of this Garnier cream.

Neutrogena Concentrated Hand Cream
Finally, a winter essential: hand cream. This Neutrogena product is a good protective hand cream to apply before you go out into the cold weather. I like the fact that it is unscented and not sticky at all. A little of this goes a long way so this small tube lasted a good amount of time.

I would love to hear about products you have used up recently. Thanks for reading,

  1. I'm a Mitchum fan too but have changed from the roll on to the cream as I prefer that formula. I only use simple in the shower as it doesn't irritate my skin. Hand cream I never use, I should but mostly I forget them . That's a new years resolution. My poor hands 😄😄
